It starts under the stone
Interlock lasts as long as the base under it. We dig out to depth, place and compact the granular base, and screed the bedding before the first paver goes down, so the surface does not sink or heave.
Because we run our own excavation and trucks, the old driveway or lawn comes out and the base material comes in without waiting on anyone else.

Handed over broom-clean

Questions
Do you remove the old driveway?
Yes. We dig out the old asphalt, concrete or gravel and haul it away with our own trucks before the new base goes in.
Do you do site cleanup on its own?
Yes, for builders and owners at the end of a project: spoil, debris and leftover material hauled off and the site left broom-clean.
